Thread: CyborgCriticalSnipe Cybernetic Arm Is NOT A RANGE DB

I tested this out and I have found this is not a ranged Deathblow as some have claimed. The test included dueling my alt until he was incapped then firing the cyborgcriticalsnipe shot. In all test nothing happens. Unless someone can prove otherwise I call BS on all those claiming its a range deathblow arm.

What race are you? I have heard only certain races work with it but that could be rumor... pretty much everything we know about the abilities is rumor and speculation.
(Like I said - I don't know what the devs have in mind for this weapon)

My race is Human. Someone told me now that it only DB's if its the last attack that incaps the player. Thats hard to do.

yeah especially since it only does so little damage
well another rumor that is hard to test...

I was just about to ask if it was a ranged DB, go figure. I tried it on my alt and it didn't seem to do anything. Wookiee here.

I am a Zabrak and incapped a guildmate then used the arm special and it did not db' them. It did about 692 damage. The timer on those stupid specials also restrict testing because it takes like 10 minutes to cooldown.

are you saying when they were incapped you could deal more damage to them?
if so that is good (*ithe incap timer would get much longer and allow for a db timer to actually finish for once)

ODDLY it said in combat log (at least i think... from memory) I did that damage, but only fired it after he was incapped and I got the message saying" invalid target", but the damage showed up in log anyhow and over his head. However, he got up in under 10 seconds anyhow, regardless. i'll have to test it some more.
