anybody seen one of these yet? looted it off necrosis earlier and was trying to figure out how rare they are
rifle speed +10
CL req: 54
skill req: master rifleman
dmg type: energy

The specials cost I could live with as the cost of being a "special" rifle. But the 55m range seems unfortunate, especially as this is a Master Cert'ed rifle. Without at least 65m range it really isn't that special and I hate to see quest items not be of any more interest that than. If this is a loot item meaning that they are not a one time item like the LD-1 then I suppose it doesn't matter as much.
The LD-1 by the way is nice to look at, but will never replace your Laser Rifle or T21. Too bad, for all the work it takes to get I was hoping it would be worth putting an anti-decay kit on.

yeah, range sucks, and speed modifiers dont seem to do much for me. a pair of +4 to speed boots, only get me like an extra 2dps

No, LD-1 wont replace your Laser or T-21
But the Trandoshan Hunting Rifle will.
