I went and bought and Adv Laser Rifle with an accuracy bonus of 12. The problem is when I equip it I do not see any of my skill mods increased. Which skill is this supposed to increase exactly? Has anyone else experienced this? The way it looks to me, the bonus actaully does nothing but maybe it needs to be tested which I'm too lazy to do(unless SOE wants to pay me ) not to mention I'm not sure how to test it!

It does not direct enhance your skill it is just added in when you fire that weapon. It is not the same as an attachement or as a legendary/exceptional weapon. (which would have those mods in a different place on the weapon spec sheet)

It does not direct enhance your skill it is just added in when you fire that weapon. It is not the same as an attachement or as a legendary/exceptional weapon. (which would have those mods in a different place on the weapon spec sheet)

Ah I see...so is there anyway to test/know how much the bonus helps? Also, what is the max bonus? Highest I've seen so far was 18.

no real good method as most people have their accuracy uber pumped already (use aim and get a +240 to your accuracy) so a +xx number is pretty small and has little effect.

OK thanks for the help. I have been using my Aim and works well, now I know why. So IMO it would be safe to say that the accuracy bonus on the Adv Laser Rifles is negligable if comparing 2 rifles with all other stats equal? I have found in shopping for rifles that people greatly increase the price because of this accuracy bonus.

Yeah I would agree - if that is the only difference unless you are jedi hunter I would not buy the more expensive one.
