An uber advanced laser rifle....all u need to be is lvl 54 to use it. Im a MBH /M Pistoleer and use this rifle to do great damage and keep my 64M away.

If he is also a rifleman, you ant that first snipershot to do full damage, a decent goraxed beserker will outdamage on that first shot if the jedi is wearing a psg.

Is the LD-1 Kinetic? I have mine in cold storage now that I've married my Dosh Hunter.

As a bounty hunter,I am assuming you are using the rifle to hunt jedi, in which case you would be better off with a kinetic damage rifle instead of energy based.
I thought the Trando rifle was energy?

er, sorry dump question, why kinetic and jedi? psg have low kinetic value?

PSGs defend against Energy weapons, which most ranged weapons are based on. Kinetic isn't a damage value defended against as much as it used to.

Proton Carbines are very effective as well (around 350 base dps does about 90 cold elemental damage and has a high max damage and is kinetic)..only downer is the shorter max range but it is really nice for kiting.

LD-1 is kinetic, and so is the trando hunting rifle. The ld-1 is less than 300 dps (cant remember exactly, but not too much less than 300) and the trando is 312 base dps i believe.
As a bounty hunter,I am assuming you are using the rifle to hunt jedi, in which case you would be better off with a kinetic damage rifle instead of energy based.

& if you havent got ROTW & want a decentkinetic rifle I just completed Victor's quest (the one he gives you after the Bestine election, not sure if you had to have voted for him to get it) & he gives you the Lithitanium rifle which also does kinetic & has a higher base DPS (246) than my Beserker (which was a gift so I'm not sure how great an example of the beserker it is).
*edited just to say it's also easy now, although you have to bring him the head of the Tusken executioner the CU's hit that nasty mother hard & he's a weedy little level 35-ish now! I just took out the executioner, observer & witch doctor solo in about 30 seconds flat (at last, payback for all those times they chased me screaming out the fort back in the day
