Thread: Sniper / Concealment Ideas
This just dawned on me and sounds like a really good idea. I was thinking about how a real sniper would work, and how it compares to this game. The problem is that, even if you plop youself down in waiting for some overt to wander out of AH, they can still see you on the overhead (CTRL+M) map and TAB target you. Perhaps concealment should also include a change to remove the sniper from the overhead map and the tab targeting system. To make this fair it should only be allowed for the intial shot. This way, the rifleman can be played as more of a sneaky class. I personally think it is a great idea, as it adds one more level of depth to the class. Of course some counter-agent would be needed to this (and it is in the game already, just doesn't do anything really) and that would be Alertness - each passerby would have a check between their alertness and the rifleman's conceal to see if they can spot him.

The advanced brawlers classes need some kind of sneaking ability way more than riflemen.
A mentioned thing was that conceal shot should just prevent your target from autotargeting and attacking you. In city raids this would be extremely useful.

i agree...yet it just fits so well with the rifleman class...i think that it would only become active while sneaking..(if u have it) and when u have stopped...and when u fire...or non sneak crawl...u become visible agien...no tooverpowering THAT way
