I actually fought a pistoleer the other day and had the last laugh - for once! I got him to about 1/4 mind before he got into melee range. I'm sure he was smiling becasue this was his precious opportunity to use that stupid a$$ pistol whip move. He thought he had me. When he was about 10M away running towards me, I casually stood up, whipped out the 2h curved sword and gave him a nice little tap to the forehead. That's all she wrote. He had the audacity to send me tells afterwards about how I am a "**edit** bitch" who " doesnt fight fair." In other words, I didnt just lie there and let him pistolwhip me to death.

LOL that's great...do you think Point Blank 1 is good for that situation (when you have someone running up close to you)?

Actually that is quite untrue, especially with the KD changes. get a nice laser rifle or T21 and Mindshot2 and Mindshot1 them, KD is changed so it only KD/keeps someone from fireing for 5 seconds, and pistoleers lost their KD (on test, moving over to 'blue' servers soon)... so you can Mindshot2, Mindshot1, and then headshot2 a few times and you can really fark someone up.

Right now I'm nearly a master Teras KasiArtist, and I've decided to work up some rifle skill as well. Seems to me, with all the defensive bonuses and the ability to completely negate the 2.5 times damage penalty just by putting away the weapon, they should work beautifully together.

Of course when I master out rifleman I'm going to wear my TKM tag.... you know... so stuff will run away from me.

I'm a novice rifleman and I was wondering what would happen in PvP if you're fighting a pistoleer or carabineer and suddenly they come running at you. They'll have better accuracy at point blank than us riflemen do, and we couldn't run away far enough to get at a good distance...that and with the 75% dam reduction we cant kill in one hit....anyone have any suggestions for this?
