the above are the proposed changes to "pets"

now us non-ch's are limited to calling 1 pet at a time (be it faction, droid or creature), not to mention us non-ch can only have lvl10 pets now.

Am I &%*^(%* halucinating?

How the hell am I supposed to solo the missions I am given at the mission terminals? (w/ no pets called to boost morale) a can barely solo them with my cowardly and my probot out at the same time...

One tank? how am i supposed to deal with an agro mob of 10?

Now I dont totally disagree w/ making non-ch pet lvls 10 - but dont limit me to having one pet called at a time.

I cant be the only rifleman/ranger who feels this way..

CH's are the bane of the game. It's frekkin p*kemon wars around here. I'm all for banning the class. Learn to play like the rest of us non CHs. Use some tactics. My favorite? Take the enemy for a swim.

Eventhough I'm a 1-1-1-1 CH and the only pet I can call out now is my Mountain Kervol LVL14, I support the changes with one exception. Master CH should get +20 at the master spot, CH's can only call one combat pet out now so you might as well give em a little pork.

But the problem here is that every friggin profession needs a tank to efectively get XP.

If they would fix cover so MOB's would not BAF none of us would really need a pet at all.

CM's are like nukes. You have them just incase you need them, but as soon as you start using yours the other guys start using theirs and everything goes to hell-PyschoticChipmunk -The First line of the Riflenomican.

To the original poster, I'm a riflemen/ranger/ch long as I can call out my GSP and enraged flier, I'm fine with it. I'm using CH to keep the pets from mellee range, if it delays them long enough for me to shot them enroute, fine. I'll have to heal it then.

Don't use faction pets, not worried about them.

AT-STs really need to be nerfed badly, this takes some of that into account. Non-chs having decent pets, that is another thing it stops. Also the 1100 having GSPs. It hurts me as well, but I'm a wookie, little bonus there, and if it screaws me, I'll have to adjust.

Yes, still here, least physically.

what about AT-STs?

they die in 30 seconds in PvP to a commando (I counted)

they cost insane amounts of FP

they die FOREVER

you can't just "heal it" like you say about your pets

once it dies, it dies forever

and you actaully can't even heal it PERIOD. You cant use stims on it. You can't heal its wounds.

Oh you mean that there is adrawback toyour 7k faction pet that slaughters like no one's business? Oh what a shame.

Can't have something that expensive and that powerful actually die and cost us a loss of a lot of hard work.

Come on, they need to be able to die, they own on the battlefield. Having only one faction pet is a good thing tired of seeing 3 AT-STs smoke Krayts. For Rebs... well we have to do a little more thinking on how to counter that aside from numbers and a commando.

I can't feel sorry for anyone affected by this. I made it to Master Rifleman without a pet by learning how to find and kill the right animals. Was it a LONG grind without a pet? Hell, yeah... the longest. The funny thing is, after I finally made master two weeks ago, I celebrated by buying me a rock beetle! Hahahahaha.... Oh the irony!

The point I'm trying to make is that you are not doomed if you don't have a pet. It just means you have to actually THINK about your attacks and do some REAL RIFLE WORK!

(Oh My God! He can't mean that?)

This could also lead to a fix to conceal shot. Currently there is one easy way to get around having to level rifleman the hard way; a pet. Once this is gone the Devs might notice that conceal shot doesn't work very well because most of the mobs in the game are BAF.
