Get a pet while they're still feasible, head to Dantooine and camp the Huurton stalkers for all your worth. Get Flushing 2 as fast as you can. Huurton's don't move much once they're aggro'd on your pet, so you can prone with ease. The Piket's and Bols like to stampede across all creation, I've found. Quite annoying.
At 1022 Rifleman (about when I stumbled onto Huurtons) I was clearing over 4k XP per Stalker. The lairs have 2 defenders and spawn4 more. So between 18-24k of xp / lair is common, and since they stay stationary you AOE shots can take them down easily (no armor, 15% energy resists if memory serves). For over 4k xp there's not much else I found that has so few resists to your Laser/T21. It's been absolutely ridiculous how fast I've flown up the Rifleman tree doing this.
Good for cash 2, helps afford the weapons you'll be burning through spamming Flushing so many times
(although I have to admit I've mostly used just 1 Laser and 1 T21 the whole time and I'm 2 boxes from Master. My T21 has slowly disintegrated with each repair, but it's still usable. My Davio-built Laser Rifle has been with me since 8 days after I joined SWG and it's still got over 650 condition after 3 or 4 repairs lol. If I had offspring in this game I'd insist it was past down as an heirloom for generations ![]()
I know it's not useful for you I suppose, but on Intrepid the Stalker's have been dropping some excellent Wolly hide (composite armor) since I've been camping them. So great easy xp (withpet)+ good mission payouts (9.7k) + very profitable resource... Yum! Boring as hell, of course... but what can you do. Master Rifleman sounds likejust too good a treat to wait for
