I figure this may help some others out. I hunt on Tatooine so if you know any other planets or critters please respond with your list.

Note kill these mobs easiest with conceal shot due to they are non-social:

1) Mountain Worrts
2) Mountain Squills/Squills
3) Dune Lizards

I am trying to come up with a list of non-social critters. They are very easy to take down and plus they give lots of XP if you are currently grinding.

If anyone else has any please post them. This may hepl many people out.

I also hunt on Tatooine. In fact I got probably 90% of my Master Rifleman XP there. I mostly agree with Vlamr's list but with a couple of additional comments:

- Dune Lizards deathblow (will kill you if they incap you) so be careful. I avoided hunting them.
- I preferBocatts (not the diseased ones) overDune Lizards, because theydon't deathblow you.
- Higher level Banthas are good too. By higher-level, I mean Dune Banthas and Matriarch Banthas.
- Ronto lairs were also decent. Bull Rontos are good XP, but regular Rontos are average.
- Greater Mutant Womp Rats used to be real good, but now I think they aggro... they didnt use to.

Overall I would have to recommend the Mountain Squill. If grouped, you share 4500 XP. Once you reach 2nd level in rifleman (I think), you can find Mountain Squill missions on the terminals, but sometimes it takes refreshing the lists a lot to find them. Before that, hunt out of Anchorhead (if you can -- it's a Rebel town). I foundlots of Mountain Squill in the hills outside of AH.

Mountain Squill missions give you a nest where every spawn is One Mountains Squill and One Regular Squill. Kill the initial pair, DO NOT damage the nest itself, and move 160m from the nest for a few seconds, and return. The nest will again respawn with one mountain and one regular. (Sometimes it will not respawn, but usually will). If you do this more than 3 times the nest will just disappear and you won't get paid. So do it a couple of times, then just kill the nest normally. There are two spawns that come from a damaged nest. The first one comes after the very first shot. The second one comes when nest health dips below 65%.

Rogue varieties of any species are non-social (go figure , or at least they are found mostly by themselves. I like finding Rouge Fambaas on Naboo. They take a while to kill, but they give something like 3900xp. Plains Hunters, also on Naboo, are loners. However, they will DB. Peko Pekos are often found by themselves. The Giant variety now BAFs (did not used to), but I do not believe the regular do. It is hard to say because they are so often found by themselves. Besides, they are skittish, so it is pretty easy to run down among them and get one to fly off. Since they tend to fly off quite aways, it is pretty easy to isolate one.

One caveat, being rogues, they are usually more aggressive than their social counter parts (probably their attitude that got them thrown out of the herd :smileyvery-happy, so you have to be more careful hunting them. Also, note that Peko Pekos (both normal and Giant) are often found alone, but they are not designated rogues. They are just single spawns.

Foaming vynocks on Talus are non social (if you keep back and nail them in 4 HS).

Female Longhorn Pickets on Dant are good for advanced rifleman leveling.. watch out the 9k HAM - youll need a pet to keep it from stomping your hide into the consistancy of jam.. herby meat tends to sell well too..

this has been talked about before, but it's always good to update it

i would say this really depends on your style of play. you guys have all brought up very good mobs to SOLO (no pet) . i totally respect that, but it wasn't quick enough for me and the warp bug frustrated the hell out of me.

if you want absolutely insane XP, solo your way to Countersnipe 3 - at which point you get flushingshot2 - Area of effect (AE) and 4x dmg multiplier.

get yourself a good T21, and a good DLT20a (for unarmored mobs). put Speed/Mind powerups on both. get a GSP, go to dathomir. get kamurith defiler or Baz Nitch missions - agro each mob with the GSP, when they're all engaged, spam with flushing2 until they no longer move you'll get used to the strategy in no time. for added XP, do as Wayne suggested. Kill the initial creatures of a lair, back off 160m, wait a minute and heal up, then go back and do it again.. i used to be able to do this for quite a while before a lair would disappear. not sure how it works now... baz nitches give about 3500xp each when you're only countersnipe3, giant baz nitches/mutant baz nitches give over 4k each. but here's the kicker, with the GSP and Flushing2, you kill 2-5 at once

Defilers are tougher, 10k ham and they can poison. but they give over 5k xp each and you kill 2 at a time. missions are good pay out at 22k.

i did the kiting thing until i was countersnipe3.. by that point, i just couldn't stand it any longer and got a pet to tank. i also didn't have the patience for conceal shot.. basically, it was a means to an end. i wanted masterrifleman so i could move onto my other areas of interest, and PVP. now i'm master mark, master rifle, and dabbling in doctor and i have loads of fun 'cause i don't have to grind any more. but that's just me.

a side note. even at master with the GSP tanking, i still die now and then if a tough beast agro's me instead of the GSP, or if i accidentally poke a lair with an AE shot and the mob spawns on me. so make sure you clone ~

also> if you're into harvesting meat/bones/hide - the AE and a tank can't be beat. you take down a lot more stuff in less time this way.

hope that helps, good tips from all -

Soon you can kiss the pet tanking idea good bye unless you get well up the CH tree if the changes they are looking at go into place. Non-CHs will have nothing above CL10 and no armored critters. Novice CHs will not be faring much better.

Piket Longhorn Females. They are not social. Though there are often just Piket Longhorns by them also. The Piket Longhorn is social but usually there will be one of these and two females per lair. Eliminate the regular Longhorn first. Then take out the females. I group with a droid for the XP bonus. I can do these solo but it takes awhile. A lair will take anywhere from 30-60 min to destroy. 10k per mission reward. But you also get 3-4k XP per Piket. To wipe out the nest that's nine Pikets or 27k-36k Rifle XP plus another 3k for the lair.

I don't usually use spice. But a Tat Sunburn is good for these missions. The Pikets frequently hit action so the Tat Sunburn will help this heal quickly. Also action is good for warning shots if you need to get them off of you. At least it is for me since I use a pistol for warning shots.

BTW Pikets are located on Dantooine.
