Thread: Master Rifleman/Master Doctor=Destroyer of base defenses?

I was playing around a few faction bases beating up Rebel Npc's the other day. The only thing that really gave me trouble was the Turrets. So I got to thinking about how to beat them, did not try conceal(never thought to try).


Since I gave up CH, I have picked up Doctor. Not very far up the tree yet, but there buffs are great. The thought crossed my mind. Would a buffed rifleman, who was a master doctor be a match for a Turret?


T-21 isautofires fast enough, and does not seem toeat ham autofiring.Would you be able to keep ypurself alive stiming and then backing away when low on mind. With the Ent buffs we can get our mind up pretty good to get off several stims.


Has anyone tried this or have any thoughts about it. It would be nice to destroy a few large turrets as payback for whacking our AT-ST's. They don't cost as much as our walkers, but a 6400 fp loss is still a big hit.

I'm not a master Rifleman, so I'm not sure if I qualify. I am a Master Commando, however, and I tried taking out a large turret last night. Those things are viciously strong and it really does take a long time to take them to the ground.

im a master doc/rifleman.. and no, if you're talking about base turrets.. those things have 100k HAM and 95% resist to us, so unless you take your time going back and forth within range and no other thing attacks you (troopers/other turrets/PC players) i don't think it's possible to take down base defenses. The only ones who are capable are Commandos are Swordsman with the blast hammer.

Bugger thought it would be a good combo to do that with. Might still try it playing the range game, it is not like they canget up and chase me.

Yeah.. the 95% resist to energy on turrets is a pain.. its why i usually focus on the troopers/AT-STs/PC players rather than the turrets most of the time, that's the commando's job

think that is 100% resist to stun. it's 100% resist to most of them and 95% to energy, the only thing that goes through it is Blast damage.
