Thread: So let me get conceal shot straight...

Aight gents/ladies. Here's the Down Low for me.



I be gone for a month...training IRL to go to an undisclosed location. I come back after the patch. The big one. Now, there are player city's, mounts and all sorts of other changes. Which I think are pretty cool.



Riffleman has been a rather frustrating profession to me, but I have never been one to give up. So, with that said, here's a question:


As I was reading some of these threads, I got the serious impression that by using conceal shot. Mobs, no longer attack you...defending their friends that are being shot at.



Meaning, if I use conceal shot now after this big patch, say on a picket lair on dant. Will their buddies gang up on me or not?


And if they don't, does anyone have any tricks as to how to destroy lairs without respawning critters that automatically go aggro on you?!?!

Yah, you can use conceal shot without all the buddies aggroing on you.

For lairs, use the tap.

Tap once, peace. Then kill.

For the second time you'll probably need to just keep attacking it, and hit peace immediately after something spawns.

Then kill.

And you're right about being in the 7th cav, yet quite wrong about me being a tanker. A scout I am.

Pets are great for doing the dirty work on lairs. Get yourself a worthless pet that you couldn't care less about. Give it the envious job of being the lair killer for the second spawn. After you kill all the animals that are out and about the lair when you get there, shoot the lair, as stated above, then peace out. That will spawn the second wave. Take them out, then send in the pet (mine is a rock beetle named speed bump that has lost 35 vitality now). Your safe shooting at the lair untill it gets close to the half way mark. Peace out, then let poor little speed-bump keep attacking the lair till he spawns 4 pissed off ------s. Speed bump does the cool jump up in the air, land on his back dead trick, then you dispatch the rest of the defenders. After the lair has spawned 2 times from damage, it is done. You can finish it off and get your reward. Pet stim speed-bump, and you are on your way to the second mission.

Side note: Interesting to see someone from the 7th cav (i assume given Gary Owen) going as a rifleman . I would think the commando, fully armored and buffed, taking out everything with a particle cannon and rocket launcher would fit the tanker personality .
