Thread: Block is Broken. (The ability)
Block is broken right now. There have been confirmed reports of it not working for pike AND when attacking NPC riflemen. It says it blocks (or counterattack in our logs), but the damage goes though.Pikemen started noticing this after they startedblocking more. When they were using armor, it said they blocked, but thenext message wasalways, armor blocked XXX damage. They later confirmed that it lets damage throught even when not using armor.
Someone also was saying it is broken whenused by npc riflemen. Hewas attacking one of them with a headshot2, and thecombat log said that theNPC blocked the attack. But the damage still occured to the NPC's mind.
I'm not sure if the pikemen put this in their top 5, but i wonder if it is too late to put it in ours? (They are working on other defenses like this, Defense acuity is not working for TKA and they are looking into that. Said it should be fixed fairly soon too.)

This applies when fighting creatures as well. I've been soloing baz nitches on dath all week (with conceal shot, man I love that shot) and occasionally I'll see a +block+ when I hit, but I'll see them take the damage anyways...
"counter attack" def does not prevent dmg.
still take dmg.
meant to be or not, with no dmg report in combat window, one would assume there is a problem / bug.

Carbineers and swordsmens counterattack does prevent damage. Our counterattacks also differ in another way, while riflemen(and pikemen) see that we counterattacked in our combat window, i've been told other people see us blockingthe attack in their combat window.

Geez, least you see that.
I hit master and I've yet to block a single shot. course they do, but my msater behind can't. *sighs*
