Well unless ya want to only do pve do counter snipping. Cause only thing good in concealment is conceal shot which is only good for pve.

I use conceal shot a lot now so I am biased in its favor. it really just depends on you play style and what you like. Man, I hate that I just saidthat, oh well.

For instance, if the idea of spending 10-15 minutes shoot/peace over and over to kill something in return for rarely getting aggroed in the process appeals to you, then conceal shot is your friend. Im not kidding on the time it will take to kill big game either. If that sounds horribly boring to you, then id go up one of the others first. Just my 2 cents.

I got Sniping 1, (for accuracy) , concealment 1 (for concealment, helps no end if youre not one for pets, or groups), getting counter snipe next (just to see what its like),

Then i dont know i may go sniping for the added accuracy, concealment otherwiseis of no use at present as cover and block are reported not to work?

Get Concealment I for ConcealShot. It will help you get XP a bit faster. Then get all of Counter-Sniping. Drop Concealment I when neccessary

For me, I believe that the combo of 2,0,3,3 gives the best qualities of the rifleman. I went up the tree a little different but when I had the last two columns at 3,3 it really started to make me like the rifleman and see it as a more worthwhile skill.

Devs clearly do not play their creations and are utter clueless as to the results of their nerfs. They seem to be in love with their ideas and ignore the results.

i use conceal shot for taming.

a rancor and a baby rancor standing by a outcrop. without conceal if i shoot the big one the baby attacks and its a hassle NOT to kill it. otherwise i have to lure off the big one or the baby and that is also a very risky excercise and doesnt guarentee the rancor wont return to the baby. or i could use mask scent and stand under momma rancor and HOPE i dont fail...

so i use conceal to knock off the big one then go tame the small one.

i find conceal to be a invaluable situational tool. it is excellent for attacking animals while in a group of folks that havent a clue as to animal behaviour. as unlike strafe2 or other shots it wont draw the beasties to ya.
