It seems the top of this forum is getting crowded, and actually a few of the topics seem to have doubled up. It isn't a big deal since its 2 whole buttons to scroll the site but it would be nice if I could see the top and new up to date topics at the same time. I don't know if it's just me then I'll shut up and let the forum monster eat this.

Hmm I just had a look, and to be honest they are all fairly useful except the Styles is reposted all cleaned up by WayneInAustin in Weapons Styles and Other Important Information.

Well, when our correspondant showed up here he had that "vision" of making new threads, and summarize all info on one or two threads, so you would have a good rifleman FAQ and Tips and Tricks. Kinda what WayneInAustin did. He even included links to some of the other pinned threads, so that they could now be unpinned. Well, other than motivating and inspiring us our correspoandant never did anything in that direction. Maybe he is waiting for us to do it on our own now? Or he is busy playing his Jedi, who knows...
One alternative could be to just make ONE thread with links to all the other important threads. It could be named "Links to all the other important threads", or maybe something more intelligent. Then it would just have a list saying "For different weapon styles, click here. For Food discussion, click here". New posts would not show up in the pinned thread, but they would float to the top of the list below anyway.
That way, we could move it down to
- welcome and intro post
- link to tips and tricks and FAQ and useful info
- current state
- top issues
- latest patch notes
