Thread: Advice for an almost-novice

Hello all, im about 1 and a half days worth of rifles XP away from getting novice rifleman and i was wondering if im planing this all out right. I know that first i should go 0/1/0/x so i can get conceled shot, but i was wondering how i should progress with my skills so i can kill stuff fast (:smileyhappy
. i was thinking i shoud go 0/1/2/x next so i can use the DXR-6b i got, then go for 4/1/2/x or something like that.Thanks for the advice everyone.

I did the sniping line first (after concealment1) for the accuracy, then I went up counter sniping for the shots and defense then finally concealment. It worked fairly well so I would suggest you do something similar.

go after savage quenkers on dantooine, counter-sniping then sniper trees.

For leveling I say the geonosian cave. I went from novice to 2/1/0/3 in three days (casual player non macro). I'm planning on going up the sniping tree, then moving on to counter sniping, seems to be a popular choice. But whatever floats your boat, I've heard of some people going halfway up rifleman off quenkers in a day, but If you like grouping like me I say geonosian caves.

i did bolle bols on Endor yesterday, got 1-1-0-X in about 2 hours or so. T21 cuts through them like hot knife through butter. my wife (master pistoleer wearing comp armor) tanked for me, they could barely scratch her. i took cover, used head shot 2, and fried 'em.

dont bother with the other trees go up countersniping3 first. join enraged rancor groups on dath and use the fastest laser or T21 you have and stay at your weapons optimal range and you will level MUCH faster than soloing with concealshot. once you get CS3 then it goes a LOT faster. your just wasting time going up the other two trees first.
