We were in a mood to kill imps. We had a raid that had to be aborted for various reasons and most of our group melted away. There was a battle going on on correlia and we were headed there to join in the fray. Before we can leave we see an overt imp in the shuttleport. Quick concensus he's going down. Our group consists of me a master rifleman, a 1444 bounty hunter, a midlevel novice carbiner, and something else. We split up. I equip my Jawa and down my brandy rush around the corner, and start blazing away. The imp is a rifleman. He sees me and runs toward the other exit of the starport. On his way out he incaps the something else. He doesn't stop to Deathblow as me and the bounty hunter are hot on his tail. The carbiner lets loose and misses. Me and the bounty hunter chase him out of the starport and into the hills around the starport. He's getting away, and he's making careful use of brandy to keep his mind up. I burst run and I've almost got him. The bounty hunter is right behind me blazing away with the llc. I hit headshot3 and it drops me into a very dangerous place as far as the ham bar is concerned. I popa spice as he turns and hits me between the eyes. I can immagine the surprise as he sees me fall and get back up. He's taking a lot of abuse now but he manages to hit me with a high damage mind hit and I go down. He takes the time to eliminate me and turns to finish off the bounty hunter with ease.

Well I must say that I made a few mistakes in this fight. First I was using the wrong weapon. While a Jawa is nice in pvp my t21 would have been better. The guy had a stun layer in his helmet.I can't tell who's use of brandy and spice worked better in the grand scheme of things. With the right weapon my speicals heavy tactics might have had more success. I can't tell if he was using blue milk but now that I think about it, it seems likely. On the other hand if we just traded autofire it would have come down to who ran out of stims first. Or he would have simply won as I am unable to wear armor at this point. /waits patiantly for the time when I can stare down people in my wicker basket.

Don't know what Comp armor offers against electricity, maybe he was protective of his head and had an electricity layer put in as well. Can you put in two layers.

So in the end we got owned.

As typical I congratulated him on his success. I variation to the norm he responded graciously with "I was just waiting for the shuttle. LOL. Good fight."

I responded with "No there were 4 of us you fought well, we won't talk about how we did."
