Nope.

Well, not for HS3 at least, as that was the only shot used. No, hang on, he used a sniper shot at the end as well.

One of these days I will figure out how to deal with you guys, and when I do...

...
..
.

It will probably mean you have been nerfed into oblivion because I am crap at PvP.

What whine post? I have no problems with the RM/combo beating me at all, I am just getting into PvP and so am still figuring what equipment and tactics I should be using. If that came across as a whine *shrug* it certainly wasn't meant as one.

In fact I was speaking to a rifleman in our guild earlier today, who has kindly agreed to duel me for a bit so that I can test out some new weapons etc etc.

Its called buildings... you run around them... you trap them, you do your 20m lounge... then kill them...

Melee has to be smart to beat a rifle

And alot of them on Bloodfin are... I think its pretty cool... the riflemen having to kite, the melee having to close... as a brawler I noticed, you have to come up from either behind or from a concentrated group of buildings... line of sight on a rifle is really stingy... we have to close in to see you... bingo you win...

If you are kinda slow and take a rifle in open ground at 60m... you should honestly have no chance in winning against any class that is ranged... just think of yourself as a Samurai in that movie "Last Samurai" up close the Samurai ate those riflemen... when they charged on their horses into gatling guns... well, well, well... oh well...

Errr.....yes I am sure they do need to be smart, but I am a bounty hunter....the oppenent was a rifleman/tkm combo.

By the way, how tricky is it to maneuvre that 20m lounge around all the buildings?.

Its actually pretty easy... both need line of sight to see your target...

because of buildies usually being so close to each other... they are within the 20m lounge distance if not, its like 1 or 2 m shy...

O O O O O

O O O O O

Most cities I have seen use streets like this... you hide behind one... like most do... a riflemen closes to get you, even if they are CM, they can't poison you without seeing you...

Once they are able to target you at an angle... you should be able to target them and bang, its whoever gets to the button first... BH's usually do this to lure rifles into being KD'ed... that way they can have a 1 to 5 second advantage while the riflemen is trying to stand up... and get a couple shots into an unprotected back... the perfect weapon to use is a Modifieed E11 Krayt Carbine wiht Imperial Form Fitting stock... does nice damage, low ham cost, really fast, and delivers a health dot...

THe stock and schematic are Imp Theme Park loots... its an amazing weapon if you see one, the Krayt Tissue just give it more damage than a regular one which is kinda nice...

Hehe...errrrm...ok

I was actually being flippant about your mispelling of lunge.

I am aware of the benefits of stocks etc, and am having a weaponsmith building a series of weapons purely for PvP at the moment. I can't afford the krayt mods at the moment. *shrug*
