Thread: Perfect stats for MAster Rifleman?

Im a Twi-Lek MAster Rifleman since hitting Master I thought things would get better when in fact they have gotten worse for me.
I used to just spam specials but now because I am firing so quickly my mind stats are just dropping too quick and im not really enjoying the game much anymore. Mainly Ill just drink 2 bottles of Brandy and maybe a canape or two, but its still draining my mind stats too quick when I spam special attacks. This doesnt mention that cause ive pumped so much into Mind stats that my Action & Health bar is also draining way too quickly...so im trying to find a happy medium.
MY biggest problem is the issue with armor...I cant wear any armor and get away with it...the only way around the above is to not wear armor at all...so im wondering if somebody could answer following questions.
A. What are the best stats for a Master Rifleman (pref a twi-lek) PVE ONLY!!, need to try and find a happy medium cause mind is not the only stat getting hit badly...Health & Action are also, which without armor leaves me open to easy 1 hit incaps for PVE
B. What armor can a master rifleman wear...if any
C. Do I need to spam specials all the time?? I suppose u do quite a lot of dmg with normal shots cause of the increase speed at hitting master, but its eating rifle powerups up at an absurd rate
D. Do I always need to get buffs before I go out hunting, like I said above all this applies for PVE only
any help on the above would be appreciated...cheers

the thing about a t21 if you havent noticed is that in autofire mode it outdamages a pistoleer spamming bodyshot 3
i used to run aload of imperial missions and most of the time i wouldnt even bother firing styled shots unless i was in a rush the AP3 t21 inusres u hit for about 3-400 everysecond reguadless of styles. more than enough damage.
eat alot of food and drink arhissa and brandy and keep muon handy ALWAYS have food and drink dont even attempt styles with out the them.

Master Rifleman + Twilek = Very little armor. Try to get in with a MA and have him craft you pieces of really low HAM armor.Mabari Armorweave would work very well(note for pve only, it is vuln to energy, acid, something else) You can wear a whole suit of armorweave and have about 80 mental enc. If you want to take it one step further, take all the pieces that he crafts you to a master smuggler and have them sliced.. if any don't come up with an enc slice, go back to the MA and buy replacement pieces, have them sliced again, repeat. Good luck, Twi'lek + rifleman = one challenging profession.

urgh im so tempted to just start over, but ill loose all of my credits and equipment etc and I have nobody I trust to give it all to. So basically as a twi-lek rifleman im screwed is what ur saying? Is twi-lek good ay any combat proffesion? is there any way around this??

I am a human, so its a little different for me. What i did was, put all my stats into focus, and a decent amount into mind/willpower. My current stats are H-600/400/400 A-600/400/400 M-800/1100/I think 6 or 700. I wear no armor, and I use a lot of specials. But i also use low HAM rifles. My laser is 57mind and my T21 is68.I mostly use my laser for specials, and T21 for autofire. When I hunt anything big, I try to get doc buffs. I dont even use Brandy or Muon.

i feel your pain, im a twi rifleman as well... just max the mind stats, buff, and ditch the armor. nothing should get close to ya anyway 
as for combat.... the best one i found for a twi so far was pistoleer... so good luck there

Hi...i am a MonCal and i can spam strafe2 like a mofo in full composite if i do 2 brandies are buffed(doc buffs) and one muon gold.....just keep those canapies ready for the downer.
It drains 7 mind pr shot and with a 2300 in mind theres no problem whatsoever.....

all spieces riflemen need this motto when it comes to pools
Full out mind for ex. Moncals that have the most focus of every other speices according to their description i have 1300m/800f/650w
or if u cant' max all them out like humans... /growl =P then i suggest doing 1100/1100/800
Most of all i don't pvp or pve for that matter anymore without my mind buffs (i have a friendly mind buffing alt) so i have 2600/1600/1300 that is plenty for PVE without armor but if u absolutly need armor (pvp or PVE) and your not a human i'd suggest using 404+ brandy couple swigs of that and a 37% stun 80% base helmet and my 3408m/2408f/2108w and your set for some prolonged life durning pvp and pve.
Brandy and buffs are fun stuff.. but dont' do drugs drugs are bad mmk (Ex. Muon) muon may look good but i use it only when i hae like 400 midn left and i just wanna /burst run the hell outta there and its a nice life saver but in pvp its only good until that downer knocks down 1000 mind

Eep, I have found that since everyone have buffs constantly the best setup is
400-400-400-400-400-400-800-1100-1100 (human)
I prefer to have less mind and when you have Focus at 1100 + 2 vasarian,. you can spam specials with very little ham cost.. like 15 or so if gun has 70-80 on mind cost.
and with dual vasarian your mind will be about 1600 anyways. and focus and willpower about the same (if wearing armor) or 400 higher without armor. so its pretty easy if you know what you're doing
just my 2 cents.
ah and btw I have the willpower at 1100 for quick regen too find it more usefull than to have more mind since in the end you will regen faster than with mind:1100 and less on the next two.

2 brandy. 3 ahrisa. i usually do no ham costs at all when im using that food. or ill do health or action damage. im a zabrak with 900-300-300-900-300-300-1000-500-900 so the focus is a bit low. i feel your pain. more like felt it. till i worked a system with the foods that makes me never have that problem again.

My setup on stats will only be useful if you are,human as well asTK or a Doctor. Personally, i'm also a master TK....
Health....700 (1,200 powerboosted)
Strength....400
Constitution....400
Action....700 (1,200 power boosted)
Stamina....400
Quickness....400
Mind....1,000 (1,500 powerboosted)
Focus....1'000
Willpower....400
I find that this setup work's really well for me. Having my health and action at 700 default isn't too bad when caught off guard. Having a 1,000 mind help's out alot and having 1,000 focus is just excellent. I've been migrated like this for a while and it work's wonder's for me.
