Two great moves, startle and flushing shot 2, each do good amounts of damage and are AOE. Fun to use if you are sick of spamming strafe2 all the time.
The only drawback to them is the annoying "your attack has failed to raise targets posture" spam!
I know these moves are for putting other rifleman out of the prone position(COMPLETELY POINTLESS), but do we need to be spammed with a message everytime we use it against non prone targets?

just has bad as us pikeman. Our polearm3 (highest damage move) does a posture down. My whole screen is just filled with it.

Maybe we can ask the devs to remove it from the screen and just have it appear in the combat spam. I remember that leveling up and to a lesser extent now since I don't tend to use that shot much. Was a bit of a pain.

Might as well ask them to remove the +posture up+ from the attack. Have any of you ever wanted to raise someone's posture before? I've never found it usefull.
But I do agree, attacking 10 stormtroopers and having your screen fill with spam can get quite the irritating.

it is useful in pve... many ranged oponents in pve will go prone and shoot at you in combat. (while this is suicidal in pvp in pve this is not). as soon as they do that... throw a dizzy on em and make em stand up... floppy fish is what you get at that point and you can take your time killing stuff
i don't mind the combat spam - it does not interfere with you view so wy worry about it?

Well...it's just plain irritating, and there's no point in having the message when all the troopers are standing up anyway.

then hunt with a carbineer ^_^ through your dizzy on the st's if they do not fall when the carbineer forces them down... force em up for another attempt at getting em flopping . I alway alway always hunt with a carbineer partner - nothing but nothing can stand when we both up up .
though i do admit - maybe they should give us a toggle to turn off combat spam on the screen - I don't mind it but if it bothers you that much

Hah! Try being a swordsman. Area Hit 1-3 and Sweep 2 are both AOEs that try to drop all of your targets' postures.
I had to take system messages out of my spatial chat bar so I can read what my groupmates are saying without it flying by in a couple seconds.

personally I like it spamming... It gives me an indication as to how many enemies im hitting without having to destroy my eyes checking the battle spam in the chat box. also wheer I AOE kite a lot, Im often running away from enemies so I cant see health bars. again at lets me know how many enemies I have chewing on my tail

You can go stop them from showing up on the screen by going to your options and under the misc tab uncheck the box that has "show system message".
