Thread: What is the damage multiplier on Startle 2?
I was glad to get Flushing2 as it has a damage multiplier of 4 compared to x3 for HeadShot3 and I was planning to get sniping4 now that I have the points, but I just heard that Startle2 (counter sniping4) has an even higher damage multiplier, so I might as well get that one first.
Can a master rifleman comment on he damage of Startle 2 compared to Flushing 2? (I can't even imagine the damage of Strafe 2 then...
)
I have no idea on Strafe 2 as I don't have the skill.
However aldeon, if you could just give me some min and max numbers using those skills and the base atk stat on the weapon you used, I'd be glad to compute them. Usually the min and max out of about 15 attacks is enough for me to determine the dmg mult of a special...
Well if I went out and tested it, I would just calculate my own numbers ![]()
But anyways, startle 2 is about the same as Head Shot 3 it seems to me. When I used it when I first got it, it was pretty much the same, havnt used it yet.
DLT20a: 93 -149
StrafeShot2: 713 - 1098
StartleShot2: 561 - 893
That's from about 20-30 shots for each.

So it appears that Startle2 has the same dmg multiplier than flushing 2, x4, while Strafe2, as I expected, has a damage multiplier equal to Stopping Shot, x5.
