As riflemen you would think that we could use every rifle right? Then why can't we use the acid rifle. That seems more in line with out line of work than belonging to the commando. I think they should have substituted another weapon of a more appropriate heavy nature for the acid rifle and put the acid in our line. But that is just me.

technically, Pistollers can say they are getting shafted too since they can't use Scatter pistol or Launcher pistol. No. it makes sence that there are certain profession specific weapons such as acid rifles and launcher pistols. If a rifleman or pistoler could use ALL class specific weapons then I, who will one day be master in both, would be able to use just about every weapon in the game. How fair would that be?

What would the point be of getting BH if I could take the easier route of elite rifle/pistol for far less XP?

Acid Rifle is a heavy weapon, If it was in our line we would have to learn heavy weapon mods like +speed, and +acc to use it. It wouldn' be worth our time in our line to me imo. Just like pistoleers dont get the scatter pistol. Theres isn't even different like a heavy weapon.

Maybe because if others could use Commando weapons, then there would be no need for Commandos.
