Thread: Post Patch T21's Not as Bad as I Thought

I was comparing my new/old T21 and I'm not as dissapointed as I thought (except for the huge mind costs). My comments (stats below):

1) DPS (Damager Per Second)is actually better with new T21.
2) Bleeds got nerfed, because of the min/max damage decrease, and damage is king for bleeds.
3) MPS (Mind Per Second) can be almost double depending on speed/damage sliced.

This means that we can't shoot as long. Although, I'm not finding this a problem with spice and food buffs. If bleeds are important I drop bleeds with the old T21 and swap to the new T21 after the bleeds "stick". I have to say using Startle Shot 2 with a new speed sliced T21 is incredible.

Comments, criticisms?

Anyways, here's the stats:

Just wait till you get master, that slower firing/higher dmg t21 will seem a lot better. Even with my pre-nerf t21s, my mind gets completely f**ked in a matter of seconds. That's as a zabrak with maxed mind stats.

Btw, the new T21s ARE a nerf because of that. The ham costs are the same, so if you spend your entire mind bar shooting with a new T21 you'll have done a lot less total damage than pre-nerf.

The devs are slick with thier nerfing.

I agree, the new T21s are substantially worse at master. At master I can't even tell the speed difference shooting a new 6.5 second T21 vs an old 9.5. But the old one does a hell of a lot more damage.

Yah, even with the damage sliced I can see it being a problem at master. With +600 mind/focus/willpower spice and then some food/drink can you sustain the burn rates of the new guns?

At master rifleman, the most important thing is the damage on your rifle. The only way your headshot3s would take longer than 2 seconds each is if your T21 had a 10+ second speed.

Well this is all reasuring, since now I know that once Starsider even GETS the resources to make a T21, they will be good again after all. Now I wonder how long that could take...

Post-Patch (Damge Sliced)
==============================
Min: 154

Speed: 7.6

MPS: 8.2

Is this actually correct. Is it good materials or what ?

Hell that's better damage than my pre nerf T21 which capped at 504 with a damage slice. and the min is only like 30 pts less than my pre nerf. Well, I guess i don't feel to bad now, i'll be getting a boost heh.

Yea I realize that was with a power up, so its a bit lower than I originally thought. But going from what I have to what may come later I'm not as upset about the changes.

Myrick,
Those numbers are accurate for a T21 with 33% slicing and a powerup with 32% dmg and 16% mind costs. Your server will be different depending on resources. I compare that, because I always have it sliced with powerups.
