Thread: Pistoleers are funny people
Once the knockdown nerf goes through, gaining experience is going to slow down dramatically for everyone (other than riflemen who will still be going around soloing krayts and jedi knights).

Well, then I went out and searched out a krayt dragon. I stacked mindshots and tried to get supression fire working. The Krayt kneeled one time, then there it seemed to trigger an immunity. After I woke up in the cloning station I went out again and tried conceal shot spamming. Well, the Krayt Dragon has heavy armor and good energy resists. I ended up running out of mind, with the dragon barely scratched. After i regenerated mind, in the next streak I had a miss, granting me a quick ride to the cloning station.
last night a group of 12 of us went krayt hunting, i was the only master rifleman
we had 3 grual maulers out and we must have took down 7 krayts and juvvy krayts in about an hour before they simply overpowered us.
pistoleers are pompous people who are seeing thier advantage slipping away. gotta whine about something, might as well be riflemen
LOL! Silly pistoleers...they should go out, become a Novice Rifleman, run out and try to take down anything more powerful than a Bantha...see how long they last before they're back in the Cloning Center...
I'd love to see thier faces when they fire off a few headshots, and instictively hit the hotkey for a Stim-B, and realize that they can't heal the mind damage...I'd probably be laughing for a good 2 days...
Um, the fact that he is a pistoleer isn't funny. The fact that he is an idiot might be. Every class has their idiots, to assume they are all idiots is idiotic. Idiot.
Grouping is another stuff. Pistoleers and carbineers use health/acttion for their specials what can be healed, rifleman uses mind. So he has to sit and watch his groupmates doing major damage and getting major exp.
Yes, I can create big numbers when I fire my rifle but I lack WAY many tools other ranged weapon trees got. Solo pvp is close to impossible for me. I got most of my exp from a mobs that don't baf. Those mobs are getting more and more rare.
I will always show more respect to an master in an other elite combat profession than to a pistoleer.

it's funny how some people say our mind goes way, way too fast. grant it, sometimes it does (namley when you HAVE to wear armor not to die in 2 shots(Then it's just 3)).
last night i was out hunting on talus with my friend and his panther pet. (god that thing is one mean ass tank).
it was great watching the chat roll as i would acually kill some of the stuff fater than him AND the panther rockin that **edit**. a few tiems i got a 1000+ bleed off (the norm was 500-800 tho)
the point im getting at here is, i have my mind maxed, and my sub stats maxed as well. and while my mind would take major beating using a speed powered up laser rifle (4.1 god i whish it was like that stock lol), i didnt have too much down time. i was eating food that would powerup my focus. and a few times i would shoot muon gold (i love that stuff.i end up with 1600 mind and 1500 sub pool. i CANT loose mind at that rate. no matter HOW fast i fire)
Our squads buff themselves only for PvP purposes, mainly assaullts on rebel towns like Anchorhead. 3k HAM can make rebels mad. If only I could persuade guildmates not to DB them instantly, perhaps one, they we will see anchorhead cleaned of rebels.
