I'm lost right now. I plan on becoming a master rifleman...eventually...but what else should I add to it to help me. I'll be doing both PvP and PvE.

I was thinking about CH to help keep things off of me but in PvP people like to complain about pets. I also want to have 2h sword skills so if things get close I can slash them. Does anyone have any great ideas on what the best skill is to complement rifleman??

My 1st Alt is heading the way of the Swordsman/Rifleman/Weaponsmith I picked the Swordsman due to it being a mind damage attack as well, although I'm only going up the Techniques and Finesse branches.

Doctor skills 0,2,3,0. this will allow you to use enhancment D's, which wiht crappy ones will boost your stats to a minmum of 600 +, and iv gotten ones as high as 1700+ my regular stats. this helps alot in pvp, with the exception of rifleman(very few), or eyeshot'ing BH's. otherwise, you boost your health, action, and your 2 regen stats, you become really strong, i even tanked for a while in the tusken fort WHILE using my rifles, and i was able to stand up to that 2.5x melee multiplier.

I'd go with a Melee skill or Doctor, depending on who your buddies are. If you got lotta friends, and medics/doctors that you hang with a lot, you can scrap doc and take Swords/TKA, something I've really come to like about TK is that on mobs that don't hit hideously hard (or shoot hideously hard), I can just take my rifle off while I'm waiting for my next shot. After I punch someone, I just slap the rifle back on and hit some special and then take it off again. Melee toughness (which you'll get a specific variety of depending on which melee you take) lowers damage done to you a LOT, and is useful forgetting outtajams, or if you'vegotten into close range by accident.

If you solo a lot, doc, CH, or ranger wouldbe the options I'd look at.

Here's my plan. So far I'd say I'm about 75% of the way there...

Master Rifleman (of corse)

Master Marksman (speed bonus, decent pistol skills, and access to bounty hunter)

Master Scout (many usefull skills and access toBounty Hunter)

Medic 2-0-0-0 (allows you to use stims to heal and first aid to stop your own bleeding.)

Bounty Hunter 0-0-2-0 (improves your pistol skills and gives you Eye Shot for when your targets get to close or your mind is too low to keep doing headshots with your rifle.)

I believe the above skill layout would still leave you with a couple skill points, soif you wanted you couldget one more low level medic box, or you could getBounty Hunter Pistol 3 which gives another +20 pistol speed and +20 pistol accuracy.

Originally I was tempted togo for Swordsman for dealing mind damage up close, but since I wanted Master Marksmen, and I needed a decent amount of the Scout skills, I figured it would just be better to move into Bounty Hunter to get the quite powerfull Eye Shot. Personally I think this will end up being a prettynice setup. I'll be able tostart off withbleeds or Strafe Shot 2from a rifle, and then switch over to a pistol in order to conserve my mind while still being able to dish out mind damage.

I'm planning on going Master Rifleman, Master Ranger. Just because, with all the new things coming out for ranger, it'll give you a huge soloing advantage. All of the traps that'll delay creatures and the camoflage bonuses are bliss.
