what are your favorite strategies for combat? I've heard that paralyze and sniper are effective as you have time to paralyze your target step back 20 meters go prone and sniper shot them.... I just grinded this template and I'm looking for good strategies.

Better is to conceal yourself and take food to crawl faster. That way you can get your sniper shot on them before they even realize you were there.....just hope they don't have cloak.

Use the snare, and the action/mind debuffs. Those are your most powerful weapons.
If you see them low on health you can try to catch them with a paralyze and use a sniper shot as a finishing move 
.

I like to lay down some trauma and wait till they get low on mind so they can't heal paralize them and gingerly walk away go prone and send them strait to the bacta tanks! Sniper shot can get them when they are about 2/3ds down on health depending on what type of armor they have on. Trick is to not use your DOTs cause they break the paralize...I guess root would work too but I like it when they can't shoot me so I can take my time...

/startleshot to delay them
this allows you to get close enough to drop a /paralyze without ever getting hit
/electrolyte drain
/shock (so the next /startle and / kneecap will stick pretty much 100%)
run out to max range alternating headshot/ranged shot until 60-65m or so, won't take long at all w/ CM snare + kneecap that you apply while putting distance between you.
near max range then do the following
/diveshot
/snipershot
/headshot
/snipershot
/kipup shot
re-apply kneecap if it's wearing off, rinse, repeat.
Can't go wrong.
And yes, I said use those marksman ranged support shots dagnabbit! If you're going to change position, do same damage while doing it! (No idea why the vast majority of people don't do that. So basic and simple that people simply look right past it)

Paralyze and then debuff is awesome. I do that and then apply poison or fire to break it and then start in with the headshots.

i get as far back as i can without going out of range, find myself a good vantage point (say atop a hill or mountain side) Aim and then sniper shot always hits (like a 1/20 chance to miss) and usually kills or inflicts heavy damage. then i kneel it if theres a survivor and use headshot to take em out. I conceal as well with hostile targets to get closer without being spotted, especially with players considering your hidden from the map.
