Thread: Rifle Choosing Question
But I have Covert Retalation, a bunch of tissiues around 130-140 dmg could possibly get 160-170 ones if I waited a while, to maybe get a weapon made, HLC , T21 or ALR... now the question is how would I go about choosing my rifle? I've been thinking about getting an Advanced Laser Rifle with dmg cap, and around 82 sac, or maybe the HLC as i've seen them with similiar stats but i'm not sure what the diffrense really is except the +40 electrecity dmg which seems better? hmm
As for the covert retalation, it has nice mods, but kinda low dmg and a pretty high sac at (101?) compared to the other good rifles.. So i'm not very sure about putting effort into it..
Anyway if you wonder what I'll use the weapon for, that'd be PvPing and Jedi Hunting, prob Krayt and NS hunting from time to time.
So, i'd appreciate any help on which rifle to choose...AndI did some checking up on other topics on the Rifleman forum but they just gave me more questions than answers on which to go, but feel free to show up your rifle and state why you went with it instead of the other.
well what you can do right now is adk your best rifle, while you try to gather the tissues for a ALR(4), T21/HLC(6)(i think its 6 for both of them)and once you get your better rifle you can get the adk back by dismantling the old rifle
as for what rifle to go for, its really just a matter of getting the right number of tissues and the the right weaponsmith to make the best possible rifle, if you want to for the BH effect, the HLC has a very nice shot design, while the ALR can get the same dmg affect with less tissues
from what ive gathered your best bet at a good rifle is get 165+ tissues and try to find a WS who can cap sac, then cap damage, and dump what ever is left into speed, then either go for a full speed slice and use a +dmg PUp or go for a full crit slice and use a -Sac PUp
