I'm a BH/Rifleman, and my Signature weapon is the Tuskan Raider Rifle. Why, since other weapons to more damage? Simple, my Tuskan hits more frequently that the others. Yeah, I'd love to do that kind of damage, but I die less often with the Tuskan. I use the others when I fight in a group, but one on one? The Tuskan hits more consistently. Where I use a ALR, I hit for good DMG, but only like 3 out of 5 times. With my Tuskan, I find that I hit on the average 4 of 5, sometimes 9 of 10. Can anyone explain why? I'm not good with the Stats of anything, but I win more often with that lowly Tuskan than with the ALR.

my first guess would be that the people you fase in PvP may have high energy defense armor with lower kinetic armor.

The majority of the armor a ranged attacker can use usally has a standard energy defense rating that is higher then its kintetic. If that holds true then it make sense if your dueling ranged attackers and doing a bit better as the Tusken rifle is of course kinetic. But then again i might not know WTH im talking about.

As a rifleman i can personally attest that i am loathe to PvP Meleerer (Im a lvl 74 Mriflemanand can get mopped up by a decent template TKM at cl 61)
