Rifleman Archive

At this point I have Marksman (4-0-0-3) Scout (3-3-3-2). I need to find somewhere I can grind combat xp, scout xp, and trapping xp, (I'm going MRM/MR) The best place I've found is outside the Keren, Naboo spaceport. Killing the grey cons around there give 72 trapping xp, 80 scouting xp, 81 rifle xp, and 8 combat xp. These numbers are small but I can easily kill them very quickly. What I need help with is where I can go next. After I get another CL they'll stop giving xp.

I would run missions but as I stand now I get incapped fighting melee blue cons and white cons kill me before I have them at 1/2 health. Am I doing something wrong? I'm using a DLT20a with DPS = 31

Is there a better place to be grinding out combat xp?

What I would do is get into a hunting group that can accept you on Dantooine's Mining Outpost or Agricultural Oupost.

Not all groups will take in a low CL character, but there will be some.

So, before you hunt out there, get your Entertainer Buffs and then have at it.

Not sure if it's different from server to server but the Dune Sea area(on Tat) is crawling with level 17-19 stuff. Not sure what your CL level is...but I just ride out to Kenobi's old place and run around for awhile. There's Krayts all around there so you have to be careful...but the lairs spawn a ton and I was getting 15-20k for destroying the lair alone. I usually just set a waypoint to the great pit of carkoon and the Krayt skeleton and run in a triangle in that area. I'm sure there's better ways(Dantooine groups) but that's just the one that I do alone and get pretty decent xp out of it.

i never seen a krayt there, but again be he could get into a dant group and just shoot once and stay back

Yeah, in fact right before I left the server I was in that area andwent to hit the head, was gone for less than a minuteand came back to find that a Krayt had spawned and killed me so it's not without it's drawbacks. There was another area on a different server about midway between Bestine and Mos Espa that was always overloaded with them as well. You'd be riding along and see like 5+ lying in a tight area.

Yeah, it's weird Iwould neversee them in that area either but I wasplaying on Valcyn the last couple weeks and there's tons of Krayts all around there. It almost seemed like it might be a bug there was so many. I just switched over to Radiant and haven't been down there yet so maybe it's just that server. I agree though a Dantooine group is the most efficient.
