Thread: Cover with pets issues, Anyone else have this issue and is there a fix??
Yep. I'm a MR/MR. Cover is possible only when all non-grouped mobs are over 20m away. Period. Once you can train group, you won't have this problem.
What I do, is I pull my pet out, around 100m out, if I can't group it,because I don't want to, then I tell it to stay and move forward. Cover. Conceal shot, conceal shot, sniper shot and "a" and the pet charges. It's a work around.
What most often happens with me, is this: I hunt with a core group of friends. Two of them are CH's, one being a MCH. If we don't have a full group of 8, she pulls a high level pet per open group slot. Everyone else pulls their pets out and keeps them with them.
I move off some distance away, pull my pet, set it to stay and to guard me. I then move 21m away from it and cover. My pet never moves close enough to uncover me, unless I get hit, when I no longer care about cover. I will pull with conceal if I need to do so (usually on pickets, so we don't get 5 of them.)
Anyway, until you get train:group, you won't be able to cover.
