What it all boils down to is the simple fact that in a video game where weapons are used, everyone wants to have an advantage, and everyone wants to have a chance at victory.I won't lie, game mechanics right now favor Riflemen. But that wasn't always the case. Before the food buffs, etc. we were considered nothing. Without our beloved food buffs, entertainer buffs, and muon, we incap ourselves.

Let's try to consider ALL of the factors that are destroying the game and tactics. etc.

1. The buffing system - As it stands we have doctor buffs that increase our stats by over 2k, and this to healable pools. This makes

any attack on those pools time far too time consuming. A rifleman has always had the advantage of hitting

the mind. But until as of late we were unable to utilize it as much since our HAM costs on rifles were so

great. Now with muon, entertainer, brandy, canape buffs we can pretty much fire away non-stop.

2. The radar system - I know this was implemented because of hackerprograms that would give the user an advantage over

someone else in pvp. However, it still causes a great problem in that now every profession simply tab

targets anywhere and has their victim on their hud. No profession can really utilize their advantages 1v1,

and turn PVP into who is buffed, who has great defense or offense modifiers. Not who can hide, ambush,

and attack at close range (for closer ranged professoins). Likewise the rifleman cannot do what is logical and

remain prone at 64m hidden from view and snipe. Every individual is red tabbed and fired upon.

3. Uniform armor - As it stands EVERYONE that pvp's uses Composite (unless they RP and don't mind a quick death).

What is the weakness of composite? Stun (though some armors are coming out with decent stun defense).

Naturally the Jawa rifle is great for this. But remember, stun batons can hurt too. It's the mechanics of it all.

4. No Twitch Action - Always keep in mind that this game is NOT well made for what we all seem to be ultimately seeking; Skill

boxes to aquire specials and mastership does not mean you are a true master of the profession, nor does it

mean you are deadly. It simply means you add equations together to achieve higher fire rates, defenses,

offensive modifiers in which the game adds up who wins or loses. It's STILL a roll of the dice. Unless you're

actually able to dodge, jump over, and duck under laser fire, melee blows, etc. you're still lacking. Can you

master the profession according to the game's mechanics? Of course. Learning what gives you better

modifiers, weapon damage, knowing group tactics, buying skill tapes etc. are all factors that help you.

It boils down to beating the roll, and literally using "loaded dice."

I know there's alot of other factors but I think these are enough to give you the overall point. I could go on and on into CM poison, weapons etc. targeting through hills/rocks (LOS), and exploiting but too much to write and too little time.

All the doctor buffs, entertainer buffs, foods do is make players more invincible and give SONY another way to drain money out of the economy...something they are obsessed with since credits hold such little value in Star Wars. Only problem is it's not working.

I can do things with Brandy that I never thought possible before. Too bad its all pointless because I just killed about 100 elite mercenaries on Lok the past few days and none of them dropped any loot.

I guess if you don't pvp, the game fades very fast.
