I dont usually come right out and complain but geeeez.

/rant on

So you get buffed, you put on your composit, you go to the Mining Camp. and you look for a group. A regular group cause solo is a little higher up the tree than where some (most) of us are. You wait and check with people and no groups form... Several solo groups go out but no hunting groups.

Then some youngster tells you that the Mining camp is only for SOLO groups. I responed that maybe right then but not all the time.. /my hand make a swish over my head front to back /LOL

If this is true then the ranks of master or fileman in general are destined to be reduced to only a few people. I read in many of the tips to go join a group... and do so and so... but if doesnt happen 90% will lose interest and leave.

Not sure what to do about this. I went to several other shuttle points and Core. and there were several people looking around for groups...I took what was left of my buffs, went to Best and did missions till they wore off.

If we are not doing groups from mining camp then where are we doing them from? And yeah, I am sorry I am not up to the level some other players are but I like 80% of the people out there have limited time to play!!!

/rant off

So why not form your own group? Or go to an easier planet to solo stuff.

In a way I guess that is what I did. Went to several other points in the system but no one was interested. Went to Best area and did missions.I didnt think it would be that hard to generate groups.Guess I was wrong. What other good group places are there?

truth is that a group is the slowest way to level. thats why your seeing a lot of the so called solo-groups popping up. the majority of folks are way behind the power curve its been known since day one that groups are slower than solo. its unfortunate since leveling SHOULD be a group activity or enhanced by grouping but the opposite is true.

Well IMO, the reason why grouping Sucks for XP is because creratures are capped at XP per your weapon level. If they removed the XP caps, grouping would be better for leveling.

i want to clear one thing. im not saying that all solo be forced to group not be any stretch. the vast majority of what i do is solo and i prefer it that way. the mechanics of the game forces people to solo to advance at a reasonable rate. in exactly the manner psycho outlines

I'm currently levelling up to TKA using solo-hunting groups. You can't beat the xp bonus you get and with 80% composite/buffs, even at really low level, I can solo hard stuff on Dant - It just takes a while.

The problem is not the just the group system, its buffs and armour. Without it, I couldn't solo the stuff I am and therefore I would choose to level in a group hunt instead.

If you are just looking to level up fast, head to the Genosian caves, everyone else tanks you just go prone at the side of the cave and blast away, dont even need a buff.

I got over 600K of XP in 2 hours there last night with My DXR6B.

I'm not into doing it speedy as I understand any leveling will take time just would like it to be alittle faster. I think I'm spoiled by the ease at which my TKM toon was able to solo level. The cave sounds interesting as well as fun. I'll give that a try. Thanks to all for the information and conversation!

You said you weren't high enough for the solo groups on Dath yet? With todays overpowered buffs and armor you could walk right into the middle of any thing you want and never die. You will just rack upa bunch if BF if you stay in combat too long killing your mission. The missions may take a little longer if you aren't able to fight real well but I've found you still get more xp for your time.

I usually solo every combat class I do also and if i can't get a team on Dant I just head to Lok and kill mynocks although those may be too hard for a low level rifleman too

My advice would be to forget about groups, unless you are just looking for a fun night out with friends. At lower levels, you won't get much xp in a group. I hate to sound like a broken record, but go to Dant and solo Savage Quenkers. Once you get a DXR-6b, if you have armor and a buff, you should be able to get in a solo group and kill Voritor Trackers (they are very vulnerable to acid). There are a lot of random spawns on Dant since the last publish, so basically kill everything in sight. That's what I did, and made master in a reasonable amount of time.

Bottom line, I guess, is ditch the groups and go solo.
