Hi i hit master Rifleman yesterday and one thing has bugged me since i got the ability , "sneak"
it says in the description you can crawl at a faster speed than normal but im finding it hard to notice any difference at all
can anyone tell me if this ability is bugged and not working or if there's something im missing about this skill cas it seems next to useless at the moment
thanks alot

well the description of sneak says it lets you crawl at a faster rate while under cover or prone and this definatly is not the case
could i possibly get a reply off our correspondant please?
Many Thanks

all rifle crawl speed bonuses were removed a while ago, but they never updated the skilltree descriptions or removed crawl speed SEAs from the loot tables.

So its a useless skill that no longer works but it's still in the skill tree for some reason?

A long time ago, this skill did work. Too well I imagine, because it was removed and has since then, been completely ignored. I guess part of the problem was that people withthe sneak skillwere able to crawl up hills faster than some Scouts could run up them. /sigh

Well, it's Take Cover that is broken, really. If it did more, the ability to move while taking cover would mean something. What was the thinking behind removing the extra crawling speed, anyways?

True, Cover needs to have some sort of clear usefulness, but

The thinking behind the removal of the extra crawl speed was that it wasn't 'working as intended' or was 'unbalancing'. I can understand their reasoning, but sheesh, fix it instead of killing it. ![]()
