hi

what tree of other profession can give me nice defenses for rifleman ?
if i equip my rifle still got defenses from that other profession?


plz explain in details what profs cou8ld be useful in addition to rifleman

high dodge and resist vs dizzy/posture stance,knockdown would come handy

im combat medic and rifleman atm, but whats your opinion about combat medic and tka?
i heard tka can heal himself and can hit mind too

Fencer x/x/x/0, Pistoleer 0/0/x/x, Pikeman 0/0/x/0, TKA 0/x/0/x The "x" trees will give you defenses you can use with Rifleman. The two that will not help you at all are Dodge (need Pistol or 1-Handed weapon to work) and Counterattack (need Carbine or 2-Handed weapon to work). TKA Meditate tree won't give you any 'defense' per se, but will give you some very handy 'tricks'

Tons.

• Swordsman- Also focuses on Mind, has Blast damage, can deal high damage in general


• Doctor- Strongest combat profession Buffs, Heals, State heals


• Combat Medic- Mind Poisons


• Fencer- High defenses. Dodge is nice


• Pikeman- Additional Block, can loot exceptional DoT pikes


• TKA- Great, strong profession

Dodge isn't neccessary unless you want to master Fencer (or Pistoleer). Nice status defenses can be had from Fencer (and Pistoleer to a somewhat lesser extent)

Haven't tried it, but I suppose it could work. TKA cannot 'heal', but can Meditate which must be done outside of battle. They also have a MindHit, but it doesn't compare to, say, Headshot 3

You can also do some hunting in the Akuaan Cave on Talus. Akuaan rings have +5 ranged defense, and you can wear more than one.

You cant be a master of both. Combat medic leaves you with enough points to master one other ranged profession. If you go 4/0/4/0 you can use single target poisons at a 25% loss of effectiveness and range but be able to go master TK.

If you want defenses go pistol instead of rifles. If you want offensive capability stay with rifleman.

For PvP rifle/CM is great. For PvE rifle/"insert melee other combat prof." here is better
