Hmm...I want one. How many tissues are needed?

I'd like one too, but I have accepted the fact that if I want one I am gonna need ot get the tissues for it myself. I think I remember hearing 8 or 10 tissues required, not sure though - with a number like that though, you can see why weaponsmiths don't make many of them.

pretty sure the jawa ion rifle needs 4 tissue.

I know for a fact the Laser Rifle needs 4 tissue so I cant see the ion needing more.

its the T21 that needs 11 identical ones....tough find.

a weaponsmith told me u would need 6 or 7 for an ion,, i think 6 for the parts 7 to make the schematic for the factory. Sounds a little high though,, but def possibly, and i defintly want one bad.,

You'll need 6 tissue. One for the power-handler schematic, and then the rifle needs six of those.

Oh, and the tissue needs to be identical (same serial no) for it to work - i.e. a large drop or from the same spawn.

To iterate for the illiterate: You need 6 with same serial.

Jawa Ion Rifle requires 5 identical power handlers. 6 krayt tissues with the same serial number is required, as 1 is needed to make a schematic, then the other 5 will be used in a factory for an end result of 5 identical power handlers.

This same formula applies to any other multiple power handler gun.

Laser uses 3, requires 4

Sg82 uses 2, requires 3

T21 uses 10, requires 11

Only single power handler weapons are the exception, as no factory run is required.

I thought they removed the serial numbers from the tissues.

They did, but then they put it back in.

They also limited the number of drops per MOB to 10, so it's almost impossible to get the 11 needed for a T21 now. Unless you are very very lucky and get the same serial number from different dragons. Guess who is the only professions that suffers from that?


Also keep in mind that while you put 6 powerhandlers with 6 Kryat tissues in one rifle, you only get the benfits from one of them. Which means the benefit/cost ratio for a rifle with 6 powerhandlers (=7 tissues) is 1/7th of the ratio for a weapon with only one powerhandler. Guess again who's profession has the worst benefit/cost ration for most of it's weapons?

I was wondering if they can have krayt tissue in them. I ahve a decent jawa ion rifle 398 max damge with power up, but it is fading fast, and won't last too much longer. Would be nice to break the 400 mark on one of these.
