I am an aspiring rifleman with an average laser rifle and access to brandy canape etc.. What is good to hunt to get to rifleman and to hunt then on out. Also, what are good tactics when hunting these.

Quenkers on dantooine.

as soon as you can get a T-21 with a speed slice and speed power up. and get headshot 2 & 3.

Then go up the sniping tree for accuracy.

Quick question, as a master rifleman, buffed, armored and such, is it possable to drop a Krayt by my lonesome? ie can it be soled as a rifleman/doc, or will I need someone to tank for me?

Any advice or hints would be great (also I assume a T21 would be best for its heavy AP =)

you can but it takes an awfully long time by yourself. so long in fact that the dragon might despawn. hate it when that happens.
Bring some friends along.

I have recently started writing macro's specifically for the rifleman . I wonder what lessons have already been learned and what was thought to be sucsesfull. I think that this has some interesting capabilities. Or do you just strictly rely on /mindShotx or /headShotx? I would like to know some strategies for putting bolts downrange.

So far I have just been relying on those two shots as they seem to take care of most things quick enough, but I have not figured out how to properly employ some of these. I do read about /coverShot and kinda drool. 嘿嘿嘿

What about food buffs? I have been mostly using Vasarian Brandy, as I do not like being knocking myself unconscience after four or five bursts. I recently found some really high quality spice and am prone to enjoy it in a responsible manner, but it is the downers that get me /pukesinhelmet. I don't like cleaning that out. Any other suggestions?

generally... here's the best way to do rifleman:
assuming you have 90 speed and at least a 6ish speed rifle, you should most likely use flushing2, flurry2 or hs2, to calculate average dps... go here : clicky

attacks/strategery:
1) aoe pwnage:
flushing2: stun is good, damage isnt bad either
flurry2: dizzy can be usefull, keeps burst run out of the picture,
strafe2: pure aoe pwnage
kite: known by some as: run like hell.
2) mind damage:
flushing2(optional): getting stun in is good, lower ranged defenses r0x0r.
headshot2/3(whichever has higher dps for you):live it. love it. spam it.
mindshot2: not a personal favorite, but some like it, in all honesty, since bleeds got nerfed, not really worth it.
kite: rifleman promotes lots of cross country
3)concealshot:
get roughly 40 meters away
prone/kneel: much better accuracy, personally prefer prone, but it takes longer to stand from.
takeCover(optional): against npcs with ranged capabilities, i am known to use it, so i have a better chance of not getting hit before i start kiting
hope you dont miss more than three times, watch thier ham bars, if a bleed shows up. stand up and run before it ticks, the target will aggro you

food/drink:
brandy: <3
ahrisia: think of it as brandy, but food, only for focus, however.
blue milk: imo, not worth it.
aitha: 200-300ish mind heal, can get it with pretty low filling(10-20%) not too bad, if you have a slightly empty stomach
citros snow cake: +30-40 accuracy... mmmmmm accuracy
thakitilo: 50-70 defense vs knockdown... something that us riflemen lack.
parwan nutircake: burst run recovery reduction = kiting made easy

spice:
grey gabaki: +500 focus for 500 seconds... muon without the mind, sure, it doesnt help quite as much as muon, but the downer doesnt hurt as much
yarrock: +200 mind +100 focus +100 Willpower 600s, mini muon, imo, not worth it, but, im a zabrak and therefore, my focus sucks :/
thrusterhead: +600 mind +200 focus 400s: a decent "Oh Sh!t" mind stim if you can outlive the downer.
muon gold: you know it. you love it.

rifles (the best, imo):
t21: PVE GOD(i doubt i needed to tell you that) heavy armor peircing and high damage for teh win
drx-6b:the t21's acid counterpart, similar damage and medium armor piercing... a PvP must.
e11: highly underrated, great grinding rifle with light armor peircing and decent damage, the lower speed makes it ideal for the grind.
jawa ion rifle: by now, in pvp, its pretty much obsolete, a good set of composite has anywhere fromt 25% to 40% stun resists, and 25-30 on the psg (heres a bit of math for you: (300*.65/2)*.7/2) 34... 34 freaking damage, wheras, the drx6(bypasses shields)(600*.3)*1.25=225, roughly 10x better, and since its only ar1, it doesnt break through armor as well as the drx6b and t21
and here's the math
jawa(300*.65/2)*.7/2) 34... 34 freaking damage, wheras, the
drx6 (bypasses shield generators)(600*.3)*1.25=225, roughly 10x better
t21 700*.3*1.75*.7*1.75 = 450
