what other proffesions works well with rifleman? I was thinking smuggler would be interesting, but i'd never use the pistol. Any ideas?

Smuggler requires both pistol and unarmed, I personally am going for Squad Leader.

Smuggler won't work at all if you plan to use the pistol, if you plan to master smuggler. The types of XP you need as a smuggler are slicing, spice crafting, pistol. LOTS of pistol.
