Hey guys - I am at that point now where I am going to make the decision of which way to go with this guy - At the moment I am master unarmed / rifle spec - I don't have any pistol skills yet, but that would not be too hard to grind out - I was thinking TKA/Rifleman - I really like to pvp as well - Smuggler would be handy to slice things, prob make a little more profit - How do Rifleman stand up in pvp? Compared to Smugg? Any input is apreciated!

Thanks!

Well I happen to be a Spice Lord/Fence Smuggler on Starsider.....and from what I've heard, Smuggler's Dirty fighting tree has some pretty good pvp skills, Like Low Blow, wich hits your enemy in the groin putting them on the group for 5 seconds - enough time to do some damage, especially in PVP. I think it only works on humainoid npcs though.

Also I heard Rifle is a great pvp skill becasue a well placed Head shot (targets mind pool) could incap in a few hits...

sorry I couldnt help more, up to you

Afew hits? If you get decent rifle (laser or e11) you can do 1500 points of mind damage per hit. A T21 does over 2000. You show me a PC that can withstand more than ONE hit form that weapon and i'll shake your hand.

You do know, that armor absorbs 50 percent? Plus what ever resists are on your armor. From what I see, Special Protection will absorb 50 percent+whatever is on there. So, with the right armor, you wont be doing 1500 dmg, or 2000 dmg. You will be doing much less depending on the armor type.

Player made armor has an armor rating of 1. A T21 has an armor piercing rating of 3.This means that a T21 will do 156% damage to someone wearing NO armor and 195% damage to someone wearing player made armor.

I'm sorry. That was backwards. i wish there was an edit button. Anyway, Someone wearing NO armor will get hit with 195% of the damage where as someone wearing player made armor will still get hit for 156%.
