Is it me or do we get gipped in groups due to our mind dmg and thus forced to solo and due to our weakness we have to kill slow mobs. So when SOE decides to nerf the langlatch, **edit** do we do?

Theres alot of mobs we can do, maybe you should get out there and try? Check there HP. They may be a red or yellow con, but they may have only 1200 mind. Wich is 2-3 shots depending on the rifle.

Heh, I never said red. Why would you want to solo red mobs? If you want a good solo, look around, yellow mobs are great XP, and if the thing only has 1200 HP, then its an easy yellow. If a white has only 800 HP, then its a good solo, And Im sure your a lowbie, theres only one master rifleman out there and hes not you.

Kimas on Talus are great xp. They are so slow you can chain mindshot 5 or 6 of them and just kite them around in a big caravan of headshots.

You're not gimped in a group. Use overcharged shot. You'll hit health two-thirds of the time and action the other third. You'll do more than enough to help a group of all pistol users, and if you get in a group of riflemen all the better. I'm sick and tired of seeing riflemen complain about "not adding anything to a group" when it simply isn't true. A single rifleman in a pistol group is a lot more effective than a single pistol in a rifle group, because the rifleman can almost always hit health and the pistoleer can rarely hit mind (however a pistoleer can help out by using warning shot every other shot, so he adds something too, just not in straight up damage).

Every complaint of lack of effectiveness in a group is due entirely to limited creativity and/or intelligence.

I must say that the langlatches aren´t that great at all.

They are slow, yes.

The Male Langlatch gives great XP, Yes

But they take ages to kill related to the amount of XP you get for them, and the female langlatch gives alot less than the male (about 450). Male (700)

It is even hard to find a good spot of L´s that isn´t surrounded by extremely dangerous agros which will attack and KILL you.

Thefastest and best secureway to gain XP right now (for Novice RMs) is taking crazed Durni's missions. They give 321 in XP and you kill them with 2 shots, and they are slow.

These are all my opinions andi'min no way telling you how it is.

Why should we need to stick to slowed mobs? Already at sniping accuracy 3 and I've never heard of those things. All you need is common sense and warning shot to rake in 2500-3500 per kill.

males take 4 shots to kill with my 4.8 speed dlt20a

females 3

marauders 6, sometimes 7

If it wasn't for langs, I'd gone pistol a long time ago

I just bleed the big guys (males, females and maruaders) and head shot the little guys (juiviniles andbabies). After i have all the big guys bleeding and all the little guys dead (they seem to move faster in my opinion so i always kill them), i attack the nest until more come out and then repeat the process until the nest is destroyed. Then i collect my 3,000 credits (i always do the destroy the langlatchs missions) and get more missions.
