I havea pretty well crafted DLT20a (and I don't care there are better rifles that do more damage yadda yadda yadda... I like it), It's condition right now is 950/950, I used a weapon repair kit on it.
My question is... the lower the condition gets... what happens? Does it's accuracy decrease, it's damage decrease, nothing?
Also, at what point should I use the repair kit on it?
And do weaponsmiths have a better chance of repairing a weapon with out ill effects occuring to it?
Finally, if the weapon repair kit is superbly crafted, does that increase the chance of success of reparing your weapon?

Stats on a what do not change as the weapon condition lowers. Its just a number to generally signify how much wear and tear has been put on the weapon at a specific time. I have not been given any indication that a weapon will be less effective at 100/800 as opposed to 999/1000.
Repair kits are most successful before your weapon reaches 50%.
Weaponsmiths will repair better than non-weaponsmiths, yes.
A better kit will prevent catastrophic failure, though even master weaponsmiths will usually lower the durability on a weapon after repairs.
