A lot of times when I 1-shot head shot some blue con creature, I receive no animation just click headshot and boom it's dead; no pause in between when I click the headshot icon and when it dies. Is this a bug or some kinda lag? Or is it just nothing to be worried about?

Nothing to worry about. You killed it didn't ya? Some times you won't see the shot, but it's kind of funny sitting in town and you just click headshot and something by you dies, without you having to move
