For those od you who cannot run after taking cover I found a waythat works for me to be able to run again. Ok say you go prone and take cover when you get up you cannot run right? Well I go prone target something attack it then stand up and I can run again. Not much help if what you are fighting in the first place gives you trouble but I hope this helps someone.

Hmmm.... this ability Take Cover immobilizes you, so you can't move. So, it isn't a bug not being able to move while taking cover is part of the ability.

The problem is that when you Take Cover, then stand up when you're done fighting, you run at a slower speed for no reason.

There is a thread on the ranger forum about this called "Perma Snared after combat"

it happens when you use the take cover ability after training Novice ranger

Yes,the above suggestion is the only way ive found to reset the speed of the character.

altho it's such a pain in the a$$ I've givin up on take cover. its not worth the grief.

What if I permanently run slow and it doesn't matter what position I'm in or whether I take cover or not?

I have had this problem as well. In fact, mine goes one step further. If I am in "penguin mode" as I like to call it (because after I use Take Cover the way I run makes me look like a penguin walking), and then I get incapped or killed, my character gets perma frozen. I can't move AT ALL when I wake up. The only way to fix it that I have found is to log out for a long time and come back.

I'm glad to see others have the problem. That means perhaps it will get fixed. *crosses fingers*
