Rifleman Archive

I'm going with a group of 10+ people tonight, usually I only group with 1 person. I'm up to rifle spec using a dlt20a. If everyone else is going for the health bar, what should I be using? Just a normal attack. Oh, and my ranged support is at III.

Can anyone answer this? I was planning on going rifleman, and currently have pistol spec and rifle spec. I went out with a group of abouta dozen last night and with everyone doing health damage all of my rifle specials were pretty much useless. Ended up just using my pistol (which does more DPS and to the right pool). Is rifleman pretty much a solo profession? Or just support, such as killing off the babies or small creatures while everyone else goes after the big game?

Early levels it is really hard to XP with a group. Do to much lower DPS. But as you get higher, and get mroe + to speed, and gain Flushing Shot 2, you will be able to group. I was actually getting more XP then a bunch of pistoleers with Flushing Shot2. Got off 2-3 seconds, for 1000-1500 damage.

What exactly does flushing shot do? Is it the one that attacks a random pool for a high value? Where can I find a list of what all of the specials do? I have a feeling searching for 'specials' will turn up a bit too many results.
