Can you conceal shot lairs so that the mob around them doesn't come after you?

Depends on the lair. I've done it a few times to rebel outposts when 2 or more generals spawn at once. They just stand there in typical rebel fashion, sipping their caf and crying about something.

It may have been fixed in the anti-nitch patch though.
