My Twi' Lek marksman is about to make Rifleman...

Can anyone tell me how many points I should put in the 3 primary and 6 secondary pools ???

It has been slow going for me now, I would like to know how to optimize it for the best success...

Any other help as far as abilities, weapons and armor would be a great help to me since I am a noob...

Thanks in advance for any help or advice...

If possible, what is the best way to gain rifle XP???

It takes me forever right now...

I tried being a rifleman as a twi'lek and it just didnt work, they don't recieve one racial bonus that applies to being a rifleman. I tried stat migration and they still ended up paling in comparison to others, If you don't mind getting off maybe 5 headshots before your mind is drained stick with it or try using the spice Muon gold to suppliment your mind weakness.

All I can say really is it's gonna be a rough road as a twi'lek . This game is right in the sense that ANYONE can be ANYTHING but to be efficient at anything is best to read up the the racial bonuses and the mind pool costs of weapons and actions. Do some homework.

**edit**...I thought I had done it

The strategy guide I read made it seem that Twi' Lek was a good choice...

I have spent a long time getting this far, so, It is hard to stop now...

Can someone at least give me what numbers would be best for each of the primary and secondary pools, so, I can at least try to make it work?

I thought there would be more people willing to help a noob out...

Thanks for any help you can give me...

I suspect there arn't that many Twi'Lek Riflemen out there. I've set my stats to 900/400/400 Health stats, 800/400/400 Action stats and 900/600/600 Mind stats, but that is as a human.

Not sure, I played human because I liked the race the best, if I wanted to be the best rifleman ever I would have gone Zabrak.

Human here, and if memory serves I'm set up as something like:

800 / 400 / 400 Health

900 / 550 / 500 Action

800 / 550 / 500 Mind

Or something... I use a Two Hand Sword after, like, my second T21 rifle shot --- Mind Shot2, HeadShot3, then the sword is out. Sometimes I have time to get in a Flurry, but I've not yet had a monster fall prone, even if I shot them while they were lying down and they stood up, and even after I knock them kneeling with my swordspecials. Running and shooting just gets me in trouble and most things catch me before I can fire another headshot, usually. So, with the high Action cost on the sword's specials I've been boosting that.

Seems to work okay --- I end most fights with all three bars equally damaged. Health damaged by the monster, mind by my rifle shots, and action by my sword specials. If they ever lower the HAM cost of the two-hand swords, I'd lower some action stats and boost my mind stats some way --- when using the T21 headshot3, DLT20 headshot3 combo to take out white-cons at nests, my mind is obviously the only stat to get taxed.

Of course, if a monster were to hit my -head- or -legs- (Mind / Action) then I'd be in a spot of trouble.
