I'd like to get a Holo... not to use it though, I'd like to just sell it for about 5 mill.. so then I won't have to worry about money for a while I was wondering if someone could tell me how high on the rifleman tree you should be in order to... or try to solo a NPC that actually drops them?

What faction are you in captain ?

Capn lvl is not an issue if you can get a mob solo and ou have a decent tank pet you can pretty much solo anything as soon as you get MS1 & 2 and HS1 & 2 and a pet.

Well master is best. I just use strafe shot2 like a shot gun.

No faction.

I almost have MS2.. hopefully that will make things easier

with no faction that excludes dark troopers or surface marshals and anbonded imps and rebs... so your now limited to force sensitives on dantooine to hunt. and maybe night sisters on dath.

you can trully solo these with some luck and a willingness to die alot with flurry shot 1 and some good chest armor
and really good stim B's.

a gsp or better creature tank would make it easier.

as i said though the force sensitives on dantooine will be tough and you will need some luck patience and skill to take out a few.. just remeber that dizy and posture change is your freind.

and oh yeah dont expect a holocron either i have killed 30 of these so far and have not gotten one drop. cept for some glop gernades off a dark trooper.


you could also try conceal shot on these guys but i belive you will have 15 - 30 minute session on each kill... using that technique

This really depends... with a grual and flushing 2 you should be able to solo surface marshall missions...

you could be a complete n00b and solo holo npc's with a AT ST.

I'm currently master doc, master rifle and i use my at st to get the surface marsall missions and have them stay at the base...with a good laser and buffs, and a moun on tap incase you can kill all the npcs at a base with a few strafe 2 shots.

I nailed a Dark Trooper the other day. Of course, I had a GSP to take some hits, but the Trooper went fast. Maybe 3-4 HS.

What level are you?

Nitra- it only takes 2-3 min on a nightsister with 12k ham using conseal shot

Later same day I stumbled upon a fight between singing mounting witchs andnightsisters and 3 rancors lol - it was great (was db'ed though heh)

I'm surprised no one has said this yet. Conceal shot in the first box of Concealment will let you solo any mob on the game. Just stay at max range with them in the "+" and you will never get aggro'd.
