Thread: High mind cost

I have recently changed from master pistoleer to rifle. The main faultI think is the mind cost. I havemind stats capped out, mind buff and brandy and still head shot 2 costs 68 per shot. At the moment it isn't all bad since my rifle speed is quite low butI bet it will be a problem. My T21 has a mind cost of 106, is that the problem maybe?


Please help a rifle newbie =)

Mind costs are calculated with your focus and weapons Mind Encumbrance.


Typically 1700-1800 Focus should allow you to spam any special.


When getting stats migrated, dont forget to bump up your Focus

I'm looking around for a new T21, what sould the mind cost be?


Found a DXR-6 with 62 mind cost and I thought that was pretty decent.

Bump up your Focus and Willpower...secondary stats are equally important. Also, Take some Ahrisa with your brandy. I never pay attention to mind costs on my weapons because with stat migration + 2 brandy + 1 Ahrisa, my blue bar never moves Just migrate and eat right, you'll be fine.

Unless you are a zabrak then you need 2 brandy + 2 ahrisa to spam

I find that once you near master Rifleman, the mind cost isnt a biggy..you loose 100-68 mind points, while your target can loose up to and over 3000 points lol!!!

I have a zabrack toon, and with maxed focus, and a music buff, I still need 2 brandy....
