I have heard a rumor that AP no longer effects damage in PVP. Can anyone vaildate this claim? If this is true what would my new weapon(s) of choice for PVP be? DXR? Jawa Ion?

This will be after the CU...
Right now it works as it alwatys did.

after the CU there is no armor piercing system.

In the combat upgrade we have decided to alter the interaction between weapons and armor to provide some interesting tactical choices. To accomplish this end we have added several new features to weapons and armor. The primary change seen in weapons is the removal of the armor piercing system and addition of an energy level setting on a player's weapon. This energy level plays a very significant role when used against the various armor types. Below is a new chart illustrating the new energy levels:

does that mean just for pvp or inclued pve too?, i'll need a whole new krayt hunting/pvp temp now. D@m it

You prolly wont have a krayt hunting template, you will prolly have to make a krayt hunting group.

I assume it still applies seeing as With my LVA i still hit hard enough to do lots of damage, and 80% ken would stop more than im hitting with.

lol, how true, but i guess temp in general lol, pikes is good in pvp cuz AP, rifles to an extent also. /sigh

Thanks for all the feedback. I am glad to hear that they havent nerfed my template YET. I just mastered Saturday and completed my PVP template so to hear that my weapon would no longer be a viable choice was a bit disconcerting.
