HEHE I just love killing stormies. I can usualy take out about half a squad before any of them notice me and I get decent rifleman xp but also faction, and you can never have enough faction. Sure it takes longer to kill them then quankers but you get faction so if you were to end up trying to do both seperatly it would take longer wouldn't it?

One major down side is when a group of overt IMP's come walking by and your TEF flag is flying high.

Yes its great. It started with a city ban that I got for saying that someone was walking the line between harasment and RP. Affter the first 40 I was over my grudge. Now I just go there cuase its the only spot near me with enough in one place. And my camo kits seem to work on the turrets as long as I don't hit a structure.

Lesson? RPing the GCW stuff is much more fun than I thought. And its good idea to be nice to rangers...

I just mastered rifles last week and ground out the majority of it on rebel commandos. The base I used had 4 that spawned in the exact same area giving around 3k each. The best part is they respawn almost as soon as they are looted so it can rack up pretty quick. If you have an area affect shot that does more damage that point blank area then you may want to get a melee friend to tank for you not to mention the bonus for being in a group. Just my .02

im grinding it on rebel bases atm got a farm with 3-4 rebel bases all near each other gives good xp. however when i was rebel i found that they seem to get better xp. all those stormies give like 2900xp each.. half of the rebel things arent that great for xp but hey im getting by.. i got 4044 in 2 days

Yes, faction farming is fun, but in order to level rifleman, I spent a lot of time in the Sennex cave on Tat.

At least now, with faction farming, there is the potential for some interesting loot!
