Thread: Need info about a laser rifle

Ok, I'm about 1 1/2 buff sessions away from master rifleman finally, so I did a little shopping around.
I found a laser rifle 3.9 spd 908 dmg (w/o pups). I know the ap is lower than a t-21 but, can still do more dmg with it than withmy t-21? I'm mostly refering to elders and kryats. I just don't want to waste my money on something that would only be good for killing small stuff.

If you are fighting kryats i think the T21 will be better because of the AP3 it has, i think kryat armour rating is heavy so the laser rifle would be ineffective (sp??) or not as effective as the T21

spend the credits on a T21 your gonna get much more use out of it (mainly cause of the AP)

I would buy both... that laser rifle is really nice. The biggest problem with laser rifles is the min damage max damage range. In PvP generally that damage range kills the laser rifle due to mitigation (master can reduce the difference 60% from the top!) but with a 900+ damage one it should still hurt big time.
In PvE the T-21 would be better in many cases (things with heavy armor )
In PvP the laser rifle might be good (what's the min damage?)
