make sure you have at least 260k combat xp banked (helps immensely spd is in combat tree).
from there solo either conceal or entire sniping tree depending on weapons (if you can kill before causing social aggro sniping only)
(faster) for grping counter sniping III , disruptor rifle cert is in counter sniping II use it if you can find one and in III is flushingshot2 an 4X?? AOE get someone tanking a lair to draw aggro and hit 10+ MOB's at once

Two places I've found with good xp (anywhere from 3500-5k per kill) is either the canyon corsair stronghold or the DE cave which are both found on Lok and listed in your POI tab.
I used flushing/flurry shot to clear the stronghold. If you're not high up in the rifle tree, don't get overzealous and take your time. Nice respawn rate on them as well.
The DE cave is a bit trickier. With the confined spaces, you don't have room to run. However, with conceal shot you should be fine. Each droideka is worth around 5k each if memory serves. The assassins are worth 1500 and are easily taken out with whatever shot you choose.
I agree with the previous poster who said to climb the speed tree asap. You will notice a tremendous difference once you achieve rifle abilities 4.

my personal favorite ..and Im 4-1-4-3 atm is to go to the Sennex cave on Tatooine. The NPCs there are scaled in difficulty. In otherwords, go kill the lookouts for now. In a group they give 1800 or so xp..
Then as you get better, move deeper into the cave

After I got to novice rifleman, I got buffed and went to Dantooine to hunt quenkers. Once you get to a good level...maybe 1111 rifleman, get into a large group but still take the quenker missions. They will be 99 difficulty level and you will get about 15 creatures for each mission with each giving you around 3200 rifle xp. As long as you are buffed and have decent armor, you will be fine. I mainly use mind hit and then head hit on them.
At the moment I am a 3433 rifleman have moved on to Janta missions using conceal shot. I needed to make some money
Good luck!

If you can, grind the speed tree with another profession and then go up the accuracy tree first
Once you have headshot3, go to dantooine, join a large solo group, then grab some graul mauler missions (10-12k payout if I remember right)
Pull out your nastiest T21, go prone, and headshot3 the buggers to corpses - if you get a big enough group, you can get 3 spawns of 5 grauls
Once you start hitting the 4th tier, you'll be getting 60-75k xp per mission, depending on how many of those damn babies spawn
If you have concealshot, then that would be another (although slower) way to do it. You will get aggro'd eventually but from a prone position you can get 4-5 shots off before they notice you - a good reason to only target the mind pool

Make sure that you kneel when they start running up to you. This will give you a little better accuracy.

Grab a decent Spraystick and use it while kneeled for the close range attackers.

I found that if you goto the Temple of the Blueleaf Cluster, they you will find Klikniks Dark Workers outside, Group up with a pet or droid and tell it to stay, this way all the xp will be yours, clear the perimiter of all the Klikniks you can find each one should bring 4383 of Rifle XP and 483 points of Combat XP. When your finished outside head inside, clear the first four Klikniks and head for one of the little ledges , get into your prone position and pick them off one by one, each one of these is worth 5K+ and 500+ combat XP, Fantastic !!!!!
.
Be careful as the Warriors can Deathblow.
When you finished inside head back outside and wait 10-20 minutes by this time they should of respawned . do the same again by the time you have cleared outside , inside should be respawning..
EASY PEASY !!!
doing it this way you should grind rifleman in just under two weeks
i got countersniping 3+4 and concealmentshot 3+4 in under 6 hrs this way

Group with a grinding mele person and a grinding medic. The mele takes the aggro, you spam an area shot and the medic heals you. Make sure to tell the mele to taunt when they come after you and the medic to always heal the mele first if he's in trouble.
The other thing, 70k is not that much. Go to Tyrena on Coronet with a general crafting tool. Go the Artisan Termial (you don't have to have any crafting skills at all, just a tool) and grab the crafting (not survey) missions. There should be a lot that are 1300-1500. Those all go to Vreni Island. Get two, craft them, and run to vreni island. Deliever, burst run back to the shuttle, and repeat. IT won't take you long to replace that money. That should get you enough for a decent suit of chintin and a set of buffs. head to dant and hunt quekners and then your cash problems should become a thing of the past after one session.
I do this with every starting character I make if I don't have friends or find some groups in a decent amount of time. The cash grind is not fun, but you should only have to do it once to get you on your way.
